Carrie Jadus

Carrie Jadus is a Tampa Bay area native who has a passion for Impressionism, and a electrical engineering degree.

Carrie Jadus worked as an engineer for years before deciding that she needed to put that aside and do what she really loves to do, paint. “Though the painting is of importance to me, it is crucial for the viewers to distinguish their own significance to the image. There in lies my hope, for those who observe my work to experience their own visual anecdote.”

Her 2015 Shine mural of Nikola Tesla was a perfect addition to the building that houses a company called Genius. “I felt like a great genius like Tesla needed a tribute,” she said. “He is primarily responsible for the A/C electricity we use today.” Jadus and her assistant Tara Radosevich took two weeks to complete the mural, and did a fantastic job!
