Caratoes

Belgium born, Caratoes, is an illustrator and street artist residing in Hong Kong. She started drawing as a child and later studied biochemistry and game design which comes through in her unique and internationally recognized artwork.

Caratoes says, “I moved to Amsterdam immediately upon graduating from university in Game Design. I so wanted to explore the world.”

She moved to Hong Kong to rediscover her roots, and quell her restlessness, it ended up being the best move for her and her art career. “Being able to do art for a living definitely changed it a lot. Plus the amazing people we’ve met. Every day is an adventure and I’m just really curious where this is heading to. It’s very exciting!”, she said.
